Lumineers

Cosmetic shells known as Lumineers are a type of veneer that is used to cover discoloured or damaged teeth. Just like traditional veneers, Lumineers need to be replaced after some time, but they offer several advantages over traditional veneers.

When to Use Lumineers

Lumineers are a tooth restoration option that does not require the tooth to be ground down and causes less damage during the bonding process. They have a similar lifespan to veneers but are semi-permanent and can be removed from your teeth with ease.

When to Use Veneers

Veneers are much thicker than a Lumineer and are ideal when hiding discoloured teeth. However, because of their thickness, more of the front surface of the tooth must be ground down to accommodate the veneer.
