What Is a Denture?

Dentures can be used to replace a single tooth or a whole set of missing teeth. Dentures are artificial teeth that are fitted onto a gum-coloured acrylic base which is supported by your gums. Dentures can be made as full dentures (to replace an entire top or bottom arch of teeth) or as partial dentures (to replace several missing teeth).

How To Care For Your Denture

To keep your dentures in good condition, we recommend cleaning them regularly throughout the day. After your meals, brush your teeth and rinse your dentures to prevent the accumulation of bacteria. Also, avoid using toothpaste to brush your dentures, as the abrasives in the toothpaste can scratch and damage the dentures.
