If you suffer from dental anxiety and experience fear while receiving dental treatment, you may benefit from one of the many sedation options we offer at our clinic. Our goal is to provide the best possible treatment results, and to do that, we need to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed.
IV Sedation Dentistry
IV sedation can help with severe anxiety and limit the gag reflex that is commonly experienced during dental treatment. With IV sedation, you remain fully conscious but you will feel much more relaxed.
Nitrous Oxide Sedation Dentistry
Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, is administered through a mask placed over the nose. It helps you relax during treatment, but the effects wear off once the mask is removed.
Oral Sedation
Oral sedation is taken in pill form about an hour before your appointment. As well as making you feel relaxed, it also causes temporary amnesia. The effects can last several hours, so you need someone to accompany you to and from the clinic.
